A Human Rights Campaign
Our mission
We wish to publicize the potential that Erfurt and Thuringia have by generously accepting the refugees into their districts: adding value to overall society by accepting diversity and taking what is best from it.
#SoWieSie is based on the human rights protected by the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, especially the following:

Article 1: right for equal rights and dignity;

Article 2, 18 and 19: respect for basic freedoms: religion, opinion and expression;

Article 7: protection against any discrimination;

Article 14: right to seek and enjoy asylum from persecution.
Through identification we aim to stimulate sympathy and compassion from both refugees and Thuringian citizens, in order to foster friendship and solidarity. Differences between the two groups as highlighted by the media has been instrumental in widening the gap between refugees and the citizens of Erfurt,therefore understanding the similarities among them may bring an important element to integration: unity.
Our vision
The project’s biggest ambition is to show how much opportunity lies in the integration of refugees into the society. In order to achieve that, the Campaign’s target is to share the elements in one’s life that makes us all humans, eventually.
This campaign aims to show that people from all walks of life, in essence, are alike though are exposed and respond to problems differently than others.
